Brochure Design Awarded for WHACKS Design

bennyaward091 Brochure Design Awarded for WHACKS DesignAwards just keep on coming for WHACK Media Design and its clients.  This time it was Noble Marketing Inc that won a “Benny”, the highest possible honor given at the Premier Print Awards, an international design competition.  Noble Marketing won in the category of best small brochure, conceived and designed by WHACK Media Design.

“Benny winners represent the best of our industry.  With entries from 14 different countries, Noble Marketing Group distinguished itself by producing a creative piece worthy of a Benny”, said Michael Makin, president and CEO of Printing Industries of America.  The awards are one of the biggest honors in print media and have now been celebrated for 60 years. The latest version of Mac OS X comes with four new fonts. Chalkduster (a good attempt at emulating chalk on a blackboard, and sadly sure to become a firm and inappropriate favourite with lazy PowerPoint users for years to come), Menlo (a monospaced family based on Bitstream’s Vera Sans Mono that replaces Monaco for applications such as Terminal and code editors), Heiti SC and TC and Hiragino Sans GB. At the core we are all artists here at WHACK media design. The need for creative ideas is constant. We want to help support spontaneous creations, by tagging our back wall. It’s our way to feature your art, creation, sketch, painting, whatever the medium. We encourage you to tag our wall and we’ll feature your artwork for the month, link to your site, facebook, twitter, etc., to help promote you as an artist, as well as keep our wall fresh with ideas. Find out how to be a WHACK featured artist below.

Rules:

  1. Download the wall template .jpg (right click to download to desktop), pre-sized for convenience.
  2. Tag the wall. Draw, tag, paint, sketch, illustrate, photoshop your artwork on our wall.
  3. Save down for web in .jpg format. (Images should be no larger than 900kb).
  4. Send your tagged .jpg image* to us at info@whackdesign.com as well as the following information:
    1. Include your Full Name, Contact Email, Location, Website links (portfolio, facebook, twitter, etc.)
  5. If we approve your artwork to be featured on our wall we will contact you for a brief interview and ask for a photo of you to be featured in the Featured Artist section of our journal.
*All artwork submitted by artists automatically gives WHACK media design, LLC. permission to use the imagery for it’s website, blog, and any other online promotional media.
