This October, Tetrapak, JB Chicago and Whack Media Design teamed up to bring people of all ages a new way to celebrate halloween. Thanks to Whack’s expertise in Flash animation and Facebook application development, all users could send and receive tricks and treats, and special halloween messages, all with a special perk.

Trick or Treat me is a Facebook application that allows you to send or receive tricks and treats from your friends. This application let you see how many of your friends are participating and how many tricks or treats you receive and send at all times. But not only did you collect halloween spirit from your friends, also every time a trick or a treat was sent, Tetrapak donated 10 cents to the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). It’s fun, free, and for a good cause.

The second creation from Whack was the new Flash application for the www.trickortreatme.com blog. The concept of the application was similar to the Facebook application. It allowed users to send and receive tricks and treats from friends, and the same donations is made by Tetrapak to help Wildlife (up to $30.000). In addition to exchanging tricks and treats, users can upload photos of their face, put them on different monsters’ bodies, and share them by e-mail. Trickortreatme.com was created entirely on flash and by collecting users’ e-mails, it creates a database for future campaigns and information.
Halloween fun has become digital and with some innovative creativity, your business can help out a good cause and take a leap forward all at once. Thanks to Tetrapak, JB Chicago, Whack Media Design, and one click from you, $30.000 was donated for the preservation of endangered species around the globe.
