CFS is a leading provider of quick and reliable order fulfillment for companies of all sizes. CFS was looking to create a brand new website for the Fulfillment side of their business. Their goal was to bring a modern, clean feel to the site, keeping it professional and mature to attract their audience.

#1 Reorganization and Functionality

Organization of all websites is key. If your customers can’t easily navigate your site, what’s the point? For Coggins Fulfillment we went through three rounds of functionality assessment to narrow down site content and hit upon its most important points. Here you can view the final sitemap.

#2 Art Direction

CFS wanted a modern, yet professional look to their site. We decided to keep a very simple, clean layout for all sections of the site and we used their signature blue color throughout. We did simple variations of the blue to make the color scheme a bit more interesting and introduced some complementary colors to make certain information stand out. A flash animation was implemented on the home page of the site to explain CFS’ fulfillment process and act as a navigation menu for people to read about the process in detail.

#3 Development & Programming

CFS website was developed with clean HTML / CSS code, up to the standards of the W3.org. The site has a very fast loading time on any internet connection and some javascript has been implemented to make the site more dynamic, interactive and easy to navigate. We have also implemented our Content Management System to allow the client to make content changes on the fly and we made it very competitive on search engines by putting it through an organic search engine optimization process.

#4 Quality Assurance Testing

Finally the site has been optimized and tested on all major internet browsers out there (IE6 and 7, Safari, Firefox, Opera, etc.) making sure the structure and coding works correctly with each. We also test and debug any coding to make sure that it is up to W3C standards.
